CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

Last Updated: August 2026

We understand that plans can change. Please review the following policies before reserving your proposal experience.

Cancellations

Cancellations made 30 days or more before the scheduled proposal date are eligible for a refund of refundable payments made to Dream Proposals Co.

Cancellations made less than 30 days before the scheduled proposal date are non-refundable.

Custom & Special-Order Items

Items purchased or created specifically for your proposal are non-refundable once ordered or purchased, regardless of the cancellation date.

This may include:

  • Fresh flowers and bouquets

  • Specialty or custom florals

  • Printed photographs

  • Personalized products

  • Custom signage

  • Special-order décor

  • Other products purchased specifically for your proposal

Costs already incurred for these items will be deducted from an otherwise eligible refund.

Rescheduling

Proposal dates may be changed when requested at least 30 days before the original proposal date, subject to availability.

Requests made less than 30 days before the scheduled date will be considered individually and cannot be guaranteed.

If fresh flowers, custom products, printed photographs, or other date-specific items must be reordered for the new date, additional charges may apply.

Third-party vendor availability must also be reconfirmed for the new date.

Weather

Light rain or mild wind does not necessarily prevent an outdoor proposal from taking place.

However, weather can affect certain elements such as candles, rose petals, florals, and lightweight décor.

If significant rain, excessive wind, or unsafe conditions make the planned proposal impractical, Dream Proposals Co. will work with you to determine the best available solution.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include adjusting the setup, changing locations, adjusting the timing when possible, or rescheduling the proposal.

Weather decisions will be based on the specific setup, location, conditions, and safety considerations.
